Dyna, sleek and cerebral, and Kit, quirky and spontaneous, are a couple. They are also a couple of therapists. And despite their wildly different methods, they’ve written a singular book on marriage called “How To Succeed In Marriage Without Even Trying”. Trouble is, their own marriage is falling apart, even after years of work with their own therapist, Susan. So, they’ve decided to call it quits. However, once their book hits No. 1 on the New York Times Bestseller list, they’re both not so sure that “quits” is a good idea…

Dyna and Kit do pretty well managing their “reinvestment” in their marriage, despite a documentary film crew invading their home, despite Kit’s stoner, potentially bi-sexual sister, Cindy, “crashing” at their place, despite the wacky therapy exercises Susan has them do, despite a rather dangerous evening where budding sexual tensions culminate as Dyna and Cindy share some pot while Susan and Kit share some wine, and, despite an innocent foray into buying a new house that turns into an extraordinarily uncomfortable situation which includes Dyna and Kit, a strip-tease, a bubble bath, and, surprisingly, Susan.
